What is Healthy Tan?
Healthy Tan is basically body air brushing using an FDA approved product called DHA. It is the same ingredient currently found in all the safe self-tanning creams and sprays. What's different is that it's applied using a delivery system that provides an even application, thereby avoiding streaking and blotching.

How Does It Work?
The DHA reacts with the amino acids in the outermost layer of your skin. These cells are already “dead skin”. It takes about three to four hours for the reaction to complete and then you look tan.

Is It Safe?
The active ingredient has been approved by the FDA for cosmetic applications. The other ingredients of the spray are all inert carrying agents. We have not, to date, had any of our clients experience ANY negative reactions to this product. We do know, however, that some other self-tanning products that contain DHA can, in rare cases, cause a rash that lasts a few hours after application.

How long does the Healthy Tan Last?
Four to Ten days.

How long should I allow for the treatment?
The application takes about 7-10 minutes. Then you'll wait a few minutes to allow for drying before you put your clothes back on.

How often should I tan?
We suggest once a week, but it depends on your personal tan “wear” length.

What should I wear to be sprayed & will it damage my street clothes?
You can wear a swimsuit, just as you would at the beach, the spray will wash out without damaging the swimwear. You can also choose to avoid tan lines completely, this requires only a "birthday suit".

I like tanning in the sun & using tanning beds. Why should I change?
We know how wonderfully warm the sun feels and how relaxing tanning can be. The reason to use the Healthy Tan system is that it gives you a safe and beautiful tan without the use of skin damaging UV rays.
